Mike Panish is the preferred expert witness for all aspects of healthcare related construction cases. He has over 40 years experience in the construction of medical offices, hospitals, mental health centers, labs, surgical centers, specialty mediplex centers, pharmacies, MRI installations, Gamma Knife Installations, radiology and diagnostic centers. His construction company, Medical Construction Systems, has renovated and reconfigured teaching hospitals and clinics throughout Southern California. He has been the sole source provider for installation of proprietary equipment by many national medical equipment suppliers and vendors, and has been involved in construction projects in over 100 medical centers, mental health facilities, and related office complexes since the mid 1980's. Medical Construction Systems has installed surgical lighting systems, ventilated systems for surgical ceilings, lead lined rooms, medical gas systems, all cosmetic applied products such as wall guard protection products, welded flooring materials, stainless steel products, epoxy paints for clean room applications. Another division of his construction company, Medical Cabinet Systems, provides cabinets and casework for specialty medical installations and proprietary integration of equipment throughout California.

Mike is well versed in the methods of infection control, OSHPD rules and regulations, ADA and life safety compliance, psychiatric patient safety anti-ligature and anti-elopement construction and products for mental health facilities, and all aspects of hospital construction. He is well respected as a truly unique contractor that provides services to the healthcare industry making renovations seamless in any facility. Another division of Mike's construction company, Hospital Door and Hardware Systems, provides quarterly maintenance and inspections for doors and door openings for many facilities throughout California. Hospital Door and Hardware Systems provides, inspects, evaluates, repairs existing and new components for all doors used in the healthcare environment. Other services provided by Mike's companies include doors for X-ray departments, acoustic isolation, fire rated and non rated products, clean room interlocking door systems, fire drop down and roll up doors, all integration of monitored openings for both security and life safety, surveillance systems and remotely operated products, door lock and security master keyed systems, installation of fire control hardware, ADA and door closer components, and site preparation for accreditation and JCAHO.
