Mike Panish is a unique expert witness with years of construction experience in the development and renovation of mini malls, retail stores, shopping center projects, and department store display products.
Mike has participated in many cases for both Plaintiff and Defense pertaining to the standard of care of maintenance, automatic door injuries, safety, security, and general construction practices and conflicts of tenant, landlord, or mall owners. He has consulted and evaluated many projects that pertain to tenant improvement responsibility and been involved in dispute resolution between owner and tenants.
Mike's construction company has been involved in store space renovation and chain store installations in major shopping malls and centers. Some of his past clients include restaurants, restaurant chains, computer store chains, clothing stores, recording and video rental chains, hobby and hardware stores, and shopping mall corporate office installations and renovations. He has worked in some of the largest shopping centers in California, and has been involved in most aspects of construction pertaining to those environments including cosmetic modernization. He has worked as a door and hardware service contractor, security and video surveillance contractor, tenant improvement and storefront building contractor, electrical contractor, paint, finish and flooring contractor, water feature and food court installer and contractor, and has provided parking lot improvement services for ADA compliance, parking configuration and security lighting systems.
